THE CLIENT: GHD
As part of the North East Link early works Rangedale Drainage Services were engaged by GHD to provide a Quality Level A Survey of all underground utilities conflicting with the proposed alignment though the Greensborough area.
THE CHALLENGE:
Rangedale, in consultation with the client compiled a project specific methodology and intense program taking in to account the site complexities and constraints of high-volume traffic, limited working areas and hours, residents, business holders the environment and the like.
The project was undertaken with a high focus on minimising the impact on all stakeholders, the environment and surrounding community. After months of pre-planning site works kicked off in early November 2018. With multiple work fronts and tasks being undertaken simultaneously such electronic service location, ground penetrating radar, asphalt and road cutting, hydro excavation (non–destructive digging), survey, back fill, and hot mix asphalt road reinstatement both day and night.
THE RANGEDALE SOLUTION:
Rangedale Drainage Services provided this project with professional inhouse turnkey solutions to deliver a Quality Level A Survey. This project, in partnership with the client, was successfully completed with a combined effort of the integrated project team.
